Have just remembered why I dislike Tuesday afternoons so much - it's always rush, rush, rush from lunchtimes till we get home from karate.
First I usually meet Annette and we walk from 2 to 3 pm, then I head to Tesco and rush round to get finished in time to get to school to pick Will up at 4, then it's home for 20 mins, unload the shopping and put it away while Will gets changed, back out of the door by 4.45 latest for karate from 5 to 6 pm, then home to more frantic-ness with getting William's supper (usually a sandwich, fruit and crisps on a Tues - luckily he had quite a good hot lunch at school today) and then our dinner.
Stupidly decided to make a rather convoluted Jamie Oliver recipe from my Jamie at Home book to use up some beetroot which came in last week's veg box, as well as a load of carrots, which we also seem to have rather a glut of currently. Pork Chops with roasted veg - currently in oven and smelling delicious. All a bit of a rush, though - stress, stress stress!!
Much easier to have some sort of freezer dinner on a Tues, although we've got that tomorrow, as I'm working and Ashley has a helicopter lesson, so I've got a chilli out of the freezer. Thursday I'm going to do a BBQ chicken recipe I found in a magazine, and Friday is William's school play at 6 pm, so I thought we'd have Mexican nachos afterwards. That's this week's food sorted then.
Haven't managed to complete my 'To Do' list either. Have, however, almost met my 100 page target of my book, due to long wait at karate!
